Feijoas

We only have one Feijoa tree; but the fruits produced every year were more than what we can eat. This new variety is very yummy and sweet. Ripe fruits remain green in colour but they drop to the ground every morning. You cut them into two and use a tea spoon to eat them.

I have never heard of this type of fruit before. Is it common in the U.S. at all? It looks like it would be delicious.
I love all the pictures of fruit trees by the way. They are gorgeous.

Keep posting pics!!

Yes, Feijoas are yummy. They are found every where in NZ. I do not know whether they grow in the USA.

Yes, I will have to look into that. How many different types of fruit do you have then?

We have quite a few fruit trees in our back yard: Feijoes, Oranges, Apples, Lemons, Tamarillos, Plums and some strawberries.

That's wonderful!
You have quite a variety. Good luck with growing them all. :)
